In the years since my previous analysis, either I was not aware of any Cincinnati Bar Association judicial polls (2013, 2015–2017, or 2019, although the latter did in fact exist), there was no poll (2014), or in my opinion, the poll showed a clear favorite in every race, obviating any need for a combined rating system (2018); as for the statewide races, the Judicial Candidates Rating Commission and Ohio State Bar Association showed clear favorites for each race every two years, including this year, with the OSBA and each legal association in the JCRC rating the Democrat equally to or better than the Republican for 2020 (this time, however, the OWBA did not rate Supreme Court candidates).
However, a few local judicial races this year did not have one clearly favored candidate, so I have decided to publish a new set of combined ratings; all positions other than the Court of Appeals are for the Court of Common Pleas.
